Jennifer Holloman is a board-certified licensed acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist, and board-certified Massage Therapist. She holds a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University. In addition, she holds a certificate in Acupuncture Sports Medicine, Women’s Functional Medicine, Advanced Pelvic Floor Acupuncture, Point Injection Therapy, and Dermatology.
Jennifer uses orthopedic and muscle testing during her evaluation to find the proper treatment needed for each individual. She incorporates myofascial release techniques into her treatment to enhance the rehabilitation process, and to prevent further injury of an area by suggesting corrective exercises.
She uses her herbal knowledge to treat chronic internal conditions. She focuses on Dermatological and Infertility conditions. She is also working on designing her own topical treatments that can be used externally for injuries and pain.
Jennifer has worked in a community acupuncture clinic in Missoula. This type of clinic is treats multiple patients at a time. She moved to Great Falls where she had an opportunity to work at Integrative Medicine Clinic, an integrative clinic with Dr. Galvas. In that office, a physician assistant, physical therapist, chiropractor, acupuncturist, and massage therapist all worked together in a collaborative environment.
Integrative Medicine Clinic was a wonderful experience incorporating Eastern and Western medicine. The collaboration between practitioners was insightful and gave Jennifer knowledge that she would carry into her future. Due to a clinic closure, she started her own private practice. Jennifer added a satellite clinic in Helena working at Performance Injury Care and Sports Medicine for two years with Dr. Steele. She now primarily works in Great Falls and still has a working relationship with practitioners she has worked with in the past.
Jennifer enjoys the outdoors and spends a lot of time in her garden. When she is not in her garden, her free time is spent in the mountains hiking, biking, snowboarding, and being on the river. Jennifer is a member of National Ski Patrol, and is part of the Great Falls Ski Patrol at Showdown Ski Area. Jennifer’s love of the outdoors allows her to bring many insights to her treatments by understanding body mechanics and environmental factors that affect chronic ailments.
Jennifer treats patients using a holistic approach that utilizes an Eastern and Western approach to acupuncture, Chinese herbs, bodywork, dietary, and lifestyle changes. She deeply believes that bringing people into balance is the key to preventing and treating diseases. Her primary goal is to teach simple acts of self-care that can lead to a fulfilling and nourishing life.
